The Divine Self: Beyond The Body

Disidentifying with the form and remembering the truth of who you are. The body is an idea; you are the awareness that watches it.

Central Truth

"I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me."

1. The Shift in Identity

Comparing the energetic experience of identifying as a Body versus Pure Spirit. Notice the contrast in feeling tones described in your reflection prompts.

Body Identity

Associated with heaviness, restriction, and vulnerability. It is defined by limitations and the passage of time (aging, fatigue).

Spirit Identity

Associated with freedom, light, and peace. It is changeless, eternal, and perfectly whole, independent of physical form.

2. Daily Practice: The Observer

Weekly Journal Prompts

Reflect on these questions to deepen your understanding of the Body as an Idea.

01. Projection

Primary Belief

If you accept that your body is a projection of your innermost thoughts, what is the primary belief your body is currently illustrating?

02. Contrast

Feeling Tones

What is the feeling of "Pure Spirit" (light, limitless)? How does it contrast with the feeling of being "a body" (heavy, restricted)?

03. Release

Releasing Judgment

Identify 3 specific judgments about your body. Imagine releasing them, one by one, into the Light of the Spirit you truly are.
